When all else fails allow God to give you inspiration.
2 Corinthians 4:16 KJV For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

There are a number of things that could cause you to stagger in your faith. It may appear that life has been very cruel to you. You may be experiencing times of stress because the basic necessities in life seem hard to come by. You may be completely worn out just because you are tired from being so busy just taking care of the routine. You may be experiencing sorrow because a loved one is sick or dealing with an incurable disease. I don’t want to say this but you and I may just be getting a little older and we can’t stand the daily routine like we did in past years. Let’s face it, some days it seems like your world is falling apart. But wait, there is great news. Though your outward bodies may be perishing, God can use His Holy Spirit to renew you inwardly day after day after day.
This is Paul’s message to those of us who read his letter to those in Corinth. Don’t give up the fight. Keep the faith. Fight through the struggles. God will always provide a way for you to endure through everything in life. I can see that in Paul’s life and I hope you can also. Every journey Paul started was one that was going to take a great amount of perseverance. Paul never knew what obstacle the next town was going to present him with. But Paul did know that the Lord would provide all his need. He did write to those in Philippi the following: Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” You see Paul knew a relationship with Jesus provided all the strength he needed. What about you?

Without God’s presence life will never be complete.

Acts 17:23 KJV For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

Folks you don’t worship an “UNKNOWN GOD”. Our God is Awesome, Mighty, All Powerful, Ever Present, Never Sleeps, and Worthy To Be Praised. The people that Paul was speaking to were clueless as to who they were worshiping. Our world today has many people who really doesn’t understand God and His infinite nature. If you place any limitations on God, you are make God finite.

What would it feel like to have a child who doesn’t think you could take care of them. When trouble comes they couldn’t depend on you. They wouldn’t feel safe in your presence. That is a sad feeling. That’s the way it is with God being our Father and you fail to acknowledge His ability to control lives in every situation.

Paul goes on to say that God doesn’t dwell in things made by your hands. Paul says you should honor God’s presence by realizing He is where you are at all times. “My God is a KNOWN GOD”

What mark are you trying to hit?

James 4:17 KJV Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

From an early age you know right from wrong. The reaction of people around you will tell you if what you are doing is good or bad. You learn all about sin through people’s responses to what you do. You may find it interesting that this is not only a sin of omission but a sin of commission. It’s not that you sometimes fail to do what should be done but that you do something that you know will be wrong. Plain and simply put, sin is sin.

What is sin? It is missing the mark that has been set for you. When you are young you are always told what to do. You probably was shown how to do it. But, being someone who just wants to get the task completed, you tried to figure out ways to make it appear that task was completed. Unfortunately, you used your sin nature to help you find a way to get something done quicker so you should. Thus, you didn’t really do what was expected of you. Why not face it, it doesn’t take you long to find ways to do what is requested of you in a less than desirable way.

God has set the standard for you. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to show you how to live and to pay the ultimate sacrifice for your sin. Jesus didn’t take any shortcuts. Jesus didn’t try to get out of what needed to be done. Jesus had to shed His precious blood so you could have forgiveness of sin. Jesus who knew no sin became sin for you. Thank you Jesus for demonstrating love. Help me show your kind of love in everything that I do all day every day.

Jesus is the friend that you need.

John 14:6 KJV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him may have everlasting life. God’s love was go great for His creation that He allowed Jesus to give His life so that His creation could be with them. Sin separates people from the Lord. Separation leaves a gulf that needs a bridge so forgiveness is possible. That bridge is Jesus! Do you know Jesus as Lord and Savior? Have you gave your all because Jesus gave His all for you? Confessed sin isn’t a weakness. It is a way that people have to be in the right personal relationship with the Lord. Repentance eliminates separation.
