Today’s Minutia:

John 8:32 KJV And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

“The truth will set you free.”

I’ve had the opportunity to watch the news reports each night. Our political process is truly unbelievable. We really never know the truth because there are far too many lies being told. The news media thrives on the opportunity to spin the reporting so that it benefits their agenda. So, who do we believe? Since we probably never will be privy to the real truth, I think it best to trust God to hold parties responsible for their words.

There is a truth that is found in God’s Word that we can believe. It has been documented and passes down since that which occurred really happened. God’s inspired Word reveals a truth that can and will set us free from the bondage of sin. We know that we are not perfect. But those that know Jesus are saved by God’s amazing grace. The truth of this world is that we are saved sinners because of the demonstrated love that God had for the world. The expression of love as demonstrated by Jesus’ blood sacrifice. Thank you, Jesus!

Today’s Minutia:

Exodus 15:2 KJV The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

There is strength in numbers.

If you feel all alone, you need Jesus in your life. Maybe you think you all ready do. Well, if you still feel all alone and without friends maybe you haven’t made much of an effort to surround yourself with other believers. It is always difficult to find the needed strength to face life’s challenges when you go at it by yourself. The community of believers are there to support and lift up each other. Those who know the Lord and have found peace in a relationship with Jesus, can share with others how to find their way through difficult times. My friend, we all have a shared friend that has endured many trials. He made a personal sacrifice so we each can receive Him as Lord and Savior. Because Jesus did all He needed to do, we can share with others the peace that passes all understanding. Yes, there will always be strength in numbers.

Today’s Minutia:

John 14:3 KJV And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

“Vacation of a lifetime.”

Many people spend a lot of time and money preparing for a vacation. Not just a time away from work or family, but a time of satisfying the personal need for doing just what they want to do. I just wonder what would happen if they would spend their time preparing for the vacation to end all vacations. How about a time with the Lord in Heaven? A vacation where one doesn’t need to worry about coming up with enough money or packing clothing for the journey. No need to worry where our room will be. “I go to prepare a place for you.” The beauty of Heaven will be beyond description. I’m ready for a permanent vacation where there are no worries. Thank you Jesus for benefits that will be out of this world.

Today’s Minutia:

Luke 10:2 KJV Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

“Then comes the harvest.”

Plant the seed – Share your walk of faith with others, Reveal how important your relationship is with Jesus.
